In August 2019 we adopted a dog and named her Matilda. Two months later my Inktober became about my friends' and instagram followers' dogs. That's when I got really sentimental.
I wrote a short introduction to go with each illustration (links on the captions). I didn't mean it at the beginning and it gave me a lot more work. I know it probably doesn't seem like, but Inktober can be very laborious, specially when you add it to the end of a normal workday, and weekend. But I'm very glad I did it!
It's a good exercise for posting something you are not so sure about. The most special part was asking the humans to talk a little bit about their dogs.
Instantly it felt like the dogs deserved it.
